All activities are chosen by the young people who attend the group.

Our Activity Coordinator will keep in touch with parents/carers during the week to confirm details of the upcoming activity and where to meet.

Group Coordinator - Heather Grant

Heather has over 15 years’ experience supporting people with learning disabilities. She began her career working with young people with SEND before moving on to support older adults with learning disabilities, developing a wealth of knowledge and experience along the way.

Heather joined InterAct in 2024 as a Support Operations Officer and has since progressed to become the Service Manager for the Short Breaks team. She has completed her Level 3 qualification in Youth Work and holds a Level 1 qualification in Makaton.

Heather is passionate about creating fun, inclusive opportunities for young people and takes pride in helping them build confidence, independence, and lasting friendships.
